VOICE works through following number strategies given below :

i. Always works importantly for the empowerment of the powerless, disadvantaged marginalized groups and facilitates promoting governance and human rights environment working with the civil and political society.

ii. Works in partnership with the activists and citizen groups including NGOs, CBOs to build up their capacity in view of implementation activities related with mission and objectives.

iii. Emphasizes activities related to policy actions both at micro and macro levels enabling people's participation and empowerment. It works to build networks, coalitions and alliances around issues of greater interest and public concern. It helps other organizations in building their capacity conducting researches, designing advocacy campaigns, and in providing support for research, study, strategic planning, review, documentation etc,. It organizes state and non-state actors, citizen groups, NGOs and other actors of the society around micro and macro issues.

iv. Observes, acts as watchdog to the development trend-- issues related with social, economic, political and cultural happenings with a global perspective, and also critically analyzes the role of global powers and does necessary initiatives for people’s empowerment.

v. Continues strategic work/relations to be free from injustice, inequality, examine governance and right based issues. It also critically analyzes the role of such institutions generating exclusion, deprivation, inequality and insecurity.

vi. Organizes cultural activities, e.g. cultural studies, educational activities, publications both for promoting and preserving indigenous knowledge, tradition and heritage.
